I used to read what I no longer do
So as the trail’s dust
So have flown
The words.

I used to read
In hollow pages
That I carried on my baggage
Of dreams.

I used to read hope…
Staryed
Off path
out of care.

I read until the day
No longer I could
Out of purpose
Without a cause.

I read now bitter pieces
Throughout truth written pages
Scrawled in rage
In despair greatly suffered.

I used to read what I no longer do
So with the trail’s dust
So now settle
the words.
